day of their lives; young
women staying home
with the kids, as the men
work to support their families.

The American dream is far
from reality. People struggling
to make ends meet; forclosures
and hunger are part of the
dream. Just wishful thinking…
Azarra, great imagery! I think I probably come home with 1 new gray American hair every day. Your poem is moving and truthful, as well as nicely crafted.
